South of Scotland Enterprise (SoSE)

South of Scotland Enterprise (SOSE) is the economic and community development agency for Dumfries and Galloway and the Scottish Borders, established in April 2020 to deliver a fresh, place-based approach to inclusive economic growth.

SOSE provides tailored support to businesses and enterprising communities to help them start, grow, and fulfil their best potential, with a strong focus on building a wellbeing economy that balances economic progress with environmental sustainability, social equality, and community resilience.

As a partner in the Cyber Scotland Partnership, SOSE plays a key role in strengthening cyber resilience across the South of Scotland by supporting businesses and communities to understand, adopt and embed good cybersecurity practices.

Through collaboration with national partners, SOSE will help ensure that organisations in the South are equipped to manage digital risks, build capability, and take advantage of opportunities in the digital economy.
