Scottish Government
Building upon the firm foundations of ‘Safe, Secure and Prosperous: A Cyber Resilience Strategy for Scotland (2015-2020)’, and The Strategic Framework for a Cyber Resilient Scotland (2021 – 2024), the Scottish Government has launched a refreshed The Strategic Framework for a Cyber Resilient Scotland (2025 – 2030). The associated Action Plan (2025 – 20230) set out key actions to deliver key priorities set out in the Framework to improve cyber resilience within Scotland’s public, private and third sectors.
Scotland thrives by being a digitally secure and resilient nation and this new Framework will enable the Scottish Government and CyberScotland Partners to achieve this vision. The Framework is aligned with Scotland’s Digital Strategy and others as part of a ‘whole of government’ approach. It will align with the strategic direction being taken by the UK Government but will enable Scotland to shape developments and lead and innovate to meet the country’s needs.
