Scottish Government

Building upon the firm foundations of ‘Safe, Secure and Prosperous: A Cyber Resilience Strategy for Scotland (2015-2020)’, the Scottish Government has launched The Strategic Framework for a Cyber Resilient Scotland. The Framework appends refreshed action plans for developing the cyber resilience of the public, private and Third sectors, and for learning and skills.

Scotland thrives by being a digitally secure and resilient nation and this new Framework will enable the Scottish Government and CyberScotland Partners to achieve this vision. The Framework seeks to be aligned with the Scotland’s Digital Strategy and others as part of a ‘whole of government’ approach. It will align with the strategic direction being taken by the UK Government but will enable Scotland to shape developments and lead and innovate to meet the country’s needs.
