Jeremy Aylott

Biography

Jeremy is Lead Ethical Hacker at the SBRC. An Ethical Hacking graduate himself, Jeremy thrives on security testing, and always keeps up to date on the latest threats facing Scottish organisations. Having previously worked in cyber threat intelligence he has a particular interest in strategic and open-source intelligence, and has written previously on nation state cyber attacks and their effects.

Jeremy initially joined SBRC as a part-time Ethical Hacker during his time at university, and worked extensively on Exercise in a Box and other Scottish Government projects. These days he is responsible for vulnerability testing and cyber exercising at the SBRC, managing the team of ethical hackers in their day to day work. In his spare time, Jeremy is a keen mountaineer, and enjoys escaping to the hills with friends whenever possible.
