Sextortion scams are a type of blackmail that is becoming alarmingly prevalent. It can be incredibly distressing to be the victim of sextortion, and anyone – of any age – can be a victim, even if they have never taken a nude picture. This session covers what sextortion is, what to do if you, or someone you know is the victim of sextortion, and how to reduce the risk of being the victim of sextortion. We will also look at some helpful tools that can help us reduce the risk of sextortion.
