Let’s Talk about Online

Do you chat to young people about what’s happening in their online lives? Do you want to grow those opportunities to influence, creating safe spaces where young people can share about the issues they are facing and help them figure out how to react, respond and recover. Do you want to help them stay safe in the first place? This course is for right NOW! Whether or not the UK decides to ban social media for young people, there is no doubt that young people need to be able to share with trusted adults who understand more about the issues they are facing, are curious about their online lives and have the knowledge and skills to support them when things do go wrong.

Digital Youth work creates a setting where young people can explore topics that impact on their real lives in a safe, practical and relevant way. Join this training to find out more.

This training launches during Cyber Scotland Week. The 2026 theme continues last year’s focus on “Can’t Hack it?!”, highlighting how everyone in Scotland can take simple, practical steps to stay safer online. The message is clear: improving cyber resilience does not have to be complicated, but it does require awareness and action.
