The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and IASME are running a pilot programme throughout August, offering free 30-minute cyber security sessions for small and medium sized businesses (SMEs).
The sessions are a no strings attached opportunity open to SMEs with fewer than 250 employees, those who are actively considering a Cyber Essentials certification and those who are ready to engage with a Cyber Advisor about their current cyber security set-up.
The session will provide practical guidance in a clear, jargon-free way that you can act on immediately as a business.
These sessions are with an experienced Cyber Advisor. This advisor can help your organisation implement essential cyber security measures, help you to achieve a Cyber Essentials certification and recommend tailored solutions for your cyber security needs which are aligned with the size and needs of your organisation.
If you are an SME interested in this programme, there are only a few steps needed to sign up and get started on your cyber security journey:
- Check to see if your organisation is eligible, confirm you are an SME organisation who has not held Cyber Essentials previously
- Answer a few questions and provide some information about your organisation to ensure tailored advice is accurate and relevant to your needs
- An NCSC-assured Cyber Advisor will contact you to schedule your free 30-minute consultation
- The expert advice you will receive will be actionable recommendations to improve the cyber security of your business and prepare for a Cyber Essentials certification.
Strong cyber security boosts customer confidence and protects your business from threats. A Cyber Essentials certification is a government backed certification scheme which helps organisations to protect themselves against cyber threats which in turn further boosts customer confidence by showcasing your commitment to cyber security.
